Today\u2019s Alpha and Gen Z generations seem to move through a world in which information is already assumed to be unreliable, while older, more \u2018Showa-style\u2019 perspectives still persist \u2014 even though I believe those people are genuinely trying their best. As I reflect on multiple possible futures, I sometimes wonder whether my own perspective, as someone concerned with future history, might already be outdated.
