I truly believe that getting along with your partner is incredibly important.

When you live with someone, it’s inevitable that you start noticing all kinds of little things about them. At the same time, it’s completely natural to need your own personal space, too.

I think that’s perfectly normal.

That’s why communication matters so much.

I believe there’s something truly special about being human: we have the ability to talk, to try to understand each other, and to work together to find an answer.

We’re not always going to understand each other perfectly from the very beginning.

And that’s exactly why I think it’s important to talk, listen, think, and find a solution that works for both of you.

And for those of you who are single right now:

Honestly, when it comes to finding a partner, I believe that having the courage to take initiative and make the first move really matters.

Go out.
Meet people.
Put yourself out there.
Start a conversation.

If you never take that first step, I think there’s a greater chance that you may end up alone.

Of course, there can also be a problem with setting your expectations too high when you’re looking for a partner.

It might sound a little harsh, and I don’t mean it disrespectfully, but honestly, it’s something I think about sometimes.

It’s also important to pause for a moment and ask yourself:

Where am I right now?
What kind of place do I occupy in this world?
And what am I truly looking for?

And if someone genuinely accepts you and likes you exactly as you are, maybe you don’t have to be perfect.

Maybe you don’t have to have everything figured out.

Maybe you can simply be yourself.

Wouldn’t it be wonderful to become the kind of person who can sincerely say:

“If this person loves me exactly as I am, then I’m okay with simply being me.”

I want to leave a little bit of magic with all of you, so that you can become that version of yourselves.

Love isn’t always about waiting for someone to come and find you.

Sometimes, you have to take that small first step toward your future.

And maybe that one little step will lead you to someone you never imagined you would meet.
