“How do I find my soulmate?”

I get this question all the time.

And yes, I will always share what I believe can help you find the person who is truly meant for you.

But there’s something important I want you to understand:

You have to move, too.

Your soulmate may not simply appear in front of you while you wait.

Sometimes, you have to put yourself out there.

Go somewhere new.
Talk to someone you normally wouldn’t talk to.
Meet people outside your usual circle.
Step into a world you haven’t experienced before.

Because creating opportunities to meet someone is also part of finding love.

And there’s something else I want you to remember.

When you choose a partner, don’t lose sight of who you are.

Don’t chase an ideal that has nothing to do with your real self.
And don’t choose someone based only on money, status, or appearances.

Of course, those things can matter.
Everyone has different values and different things they want in a relationship.

But they aren’t everything.

Compatibility can be found in so many other places:

Your values.
The way you think.
Your lifestyle.
The way you communicate.
The rhythm of your conversations.
How safe and comfortable you feel together.
And the way you see life and the future.

There will always be people who are right for you—and people who simply aren’t.

And that’s okay.

Someone can look perfect on paper and still not be the right person for you.

And sometimes, the person you never expected can become the one who makes you think,

“I can just be myself with this person.”

That feeling matters.

So when you’re falling in love, don’t only ask yourself,

“Does everyone else think this person is amazing?”

Ask yourself:

“Can I be completely myself when I’m with this person?”

You shouldn’t have to lose yourself just to make a relationship work.

Find someone you can walk through life with while still being true to who you are.

That, to me, is one of the most important parts of finding the person who is truly meant for you.

A soulmate isn’t necessarily someone who magically appears while you wait.

Sometimes, they’re someone you meet because you decided to take one step forward.

So take that step.
